Symposium
The two day symposium was one of the core events of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial and contributed to better understanding of the main topic – Buildings Are Not Enough.
The event consisted of two parts – panel discussions and keynote speakers. That year, panel discussions hosted more than 30 participants from more than 15 different countries, including Georgia, USA, Norway, Brazil, Poland, Germany, Armenia, Austria, Serbia, Turkey, Hong-Kong, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Slovenia and others. Panel discussions of 90 minutes was organized with the main themes:
- Learning from Gldani
- New Economies, New Landscapes
- Publics and Counter-Publics
- Pedagogy of/at the Periphery
- Architecture Institutions and The City
- Post-Soviet Transformations
