Dodoshka Chkheidze

She was born in 1985, Tbilisi (Georgia). She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Scenography at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University. Since 2005 she works on production design, art direction, set design, installation, sculpture, and interior design.

Reflections

A house, in Soviet urban environment, is a metaphor of space isolated from outer world and locked up in itself. In socialist era, it was a bizarre experience even to look out of a window, since the only thing that could be seen was a mere reflection of one’s own being.
