Taiyo Onorato (born 1979 in Zurich) lives in Bovec, Slovenia and Berlin, Germany. Nico Krebs (born 1979 in Winterthur) lives in Vyhne, Slovakia and Berlin, Germany. Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs studied Photography at the Zurich University for the Arts and have worked together since 2003.
Starting point of their work is usually the photographic perspective and from there they expand into the mediums of sculpture, installation and film, questioning and dissecting the reproduction and construction of the universe.
